Saucony
Saucony was founded in 1898 at Kutztown, Pennsylvania, on the banks of the Saucony Creek. The word Saucony comes from the Lenni Lenape Native American word “saconk,” meaning “where two rivers run together". By 1910, Saucony were making up to 800 pairs of shoes a day from their 2-storey brick factory on the creek, quickly moving from the serious runners’ best kept secret to the most sought-after running shoe of the time. Iconic Saucony silhouettes include the Jazz Vintage, Grid SD and the Shadow 5000.
