ERL is a fever dream of '70s and '80s Venice Beach. From high school cliques and Californian adolescence, to trust fund babies and dystopian futures, each collection paints compelling stories and characters. Founder Eli Russell Linnetz uses local people, from surfers to wrestlers, for authentic perspectives on motifs like innocence and masculinity. Linnetz worked across film, music and fashion, from Broadway as a teen to later catching the eye of Rei Kawakubo, before he launched ERL in 2018. The brand offers vibrant everyday luxury - carefree styles that play with unfamiliarity.
