Pendleton Woolen Mills
Pendleton is the story of a young English weaver named Thomas Kay. Back in the early 1800s his dream was to raise and nurture his own sheep and in-turn, produce his own wool. After searching high and low for somewhere suitable, Kay set up shop in the American state of Oregan. It was here where Kay built his own, family-operated mill that was eventually passed down to his eldest daughter, Fannie. His daughter established trade connections with America’s Indigenous communities and extended her father’s legacy. Her passion and skills have now been passed down to her sons and the tradition of wool innovation remains at the heart of all Pendleton products. Still today, Pendleton’s wool stems from families and farms that it has worked with for generations. Pendleton continue to partner with and share traditional Indigenous design and inventiveness with the world by producing clothing, blankets and robes and is still closely united with the Native American community. We are thrilled to welcome Pendleton to our brand mix and our first collection features blankets, beanie hats, socks, shirts, knitwear, bags and wallets.
