Kennedy Magazine sums itself up pretty well when it states the magazine is ‘A Biannual Journal of Curiosities’. It was established by the Athens-based photographer Chris Kontos off the back of the Greek economic crisis when he unfortunately lost his job. The magazine started off simply as an extension of Kontos’ photography blog and despite the economic difficulties in Greece, Kennedy Magazine has sky rocketed. Its success is a testament to the writing, subjects and artistry providing unique and insightful content that contradicts the ‘print is dead’ notion; with Kennedy Magazine on our shelves it’s quite the opposite.
